Synergies with Horizon Projects

Synapse
RESCALE has established a collaboration with the Horizon Europe project SYNAPSE, focusing on complementary approaches to cybersecurity risk, resilience and secure-by-design supply chains. The collaboration includes knowledge and experience exchange, coordination of dissemination activities, and participation in project events. SYNAPSE also participated in the 1st RESCALE Info Day at HiPEAC 2026 in Kraków, where it presented its cybersecurity risk and resilience management platform.

CyberSecDome
RESCALE has developed an active collaboration with the Horizon Europe project CyberSecDome through knowledge exchange, reciprocal participation in dissemination activities, clustering events and mutual communication support. RESCALE participated in both the 1st and 2nd CyberSecDome Cluster Synergies Webinars, while CyberSecDome participated in the 1st RESCALE Info Day at HiPEAC 2026 in Kraków and other RESCALE activities. The collaboration continues to strengthen cross-project exchange and coordinated dissemination within the European cybersecurity community.

CASTOR
RESCALE has established a concrete liaison with the Horizon Europe project CASTOR, which focuses on secure computing continuum technologies and trustworthy communications across IoT, Edge and Cloud environments. The two projects have exchanged knowledge on cybersecurity challenges related to software and participated together in the RESCALE workshop at HiPEAC 2026 in Kraków. Their collaboration has also been promoted through their respective websites and social media channels.

CHRISS
RESCALE has established a collaboration with the CHRISS project, focusing on complementary aspects of cybersecurity, trust and resilience across digital and critical infrastructures. RESCALE participated in the CHRISS Clustering Event on 26 November 2025, presenting its approach to software and hardware supply-chain security. The collaboration also supported knowledge exchange and dissemination among European projects working on critical infrastructure security and resilience.
Synergies with other Initiatives

SCITT Working Group
During the 123rd Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF 123) meeting in Madrid, the RESCALE project was presented in the SCITT Working Group. Through this interaction, a synergy was established with the SCITT initiative, opening a constructive dialogue on how RESCALE concepts could align with and benefit from an emerging international standard.

CEN-CLC/JTC 19 'Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies'
RESCALE was presented at the plenary meeting of CEN-CENELEC JTC 19 Blockchain, following an invitation from the Cyprus Organisation for Standardisation (CYS). The presentation highlighted RESCALE’s work on trusted supply-chain assurance, including the Trusted Bill of Materials (TBOM) and blockchain-based mechanisms for preserving the integrity of certification evidence. This engagement provided an opportunity to showcase how RESCALE results can contribute to future European cybersecurity and standardisation activities.

Finnish Information Security Cluster (FISC)
RESCALE collaborated with FISC to support the organisation and promotion of the 2nd RESCALE Info Day, helping connect the event with Finnish industry stakeholders. This cooperation strengthened RESCALE’s outreach to the Finnish cybersecurity and industry community and contributed to broader stakeholder engagement around software supply-chain security and the RESCALE platform.

IWAPS Workshop Series
RESCALE is actively involved in the co-organisation of the International Workshop on Advances on Security and Privacy Technologies and Solutions (IWAPS), held in conjunction with the ARES Conference. Following its participation in IWAPS 2024 and IWAPS 2025, RESCALE is also involved in the 2026 edition in Linköping, Sweden. The workshop series brings together European research projects, researchers and cybersecurity practitioners to exchange knowledge, present research results and explore opportunities for collaboration across cybersecurity, privacy, trust and cyber resilience.
